- Before work starts: full refund.
- After it starts: you pay for finished and in-progress stages, the rest comes back.
- Third-party fees (domain, hosting, licences) aren't refundable.
- Paid consultations: cancel 24 hours ahead for a full refund, and move it once for free.
01What this covers
This policy applies to projects agreed with Evan Code and complements the terms & conditions. If a contract or approved proposal says otherwise, the contract applies.
02Paid consultations (standard and full)
- Pay by transfer before the call; the slot is confirmed once the transfer arrives. We send payment details on WhatsApp.
- Cancel 24 hours or more ahead: full refund or a new time, your choice.
- Cancel less than 24 hours ahead: no refund, but you can move the call once.
- Moving the call is free once, if you ask at least 12 hours ahead by WhatsApp or email.
- We wait 15 minutes from the start, and lateness comes out of the session. After 15 minutes with no show, the session counts as held and isn't refunded.
- If we cancel or postpone, you choose: a full refund or a new time.
- Times are in Riyadh time, and we send the meeting link before the call by WhatsApp or email.
03Cancelling before work starts
If you cancel after the first payment but before we actually start (before the kickoff session or first deliverable), we refund it in full, minus any fee charged by the payment channel.
04Cancelling after work starts
- You pay for stages delivered or approved.
- You pay for the finished part of the current stage, based on the documented progress you can see on your project tracking link.
- Anything you paid beyond that is refunded.
- We hand over everything done up to the cancellation date: code, designs and files.
05Approved stages
A stage we delivered and you approved, or that passed 10 working days without feedback, isn't refundable because it's finished, delivered work.
06Third-party fees
Money paid to outside providers on your behalf isn't refundable because it's outside our control: domains, hosting, paid templates and licences, app-store fees, and WhatsApp or email messaging. Those accounts stay in your name.
07If we're at fault
If we're substantially late against the agreed schedule for reasons on our side and don't fix it within 14 days of your written notice, or if we withdraw from the project, you can cancel and get back everything paid for work not delivered.
08If we can't reach you
If inputs or replies from your side stop for 30 days, we pause the project. If the pause reaches 60 days, we may close it and settle under the same rules as cancelling after work starts.
09Changing scope isn't cancelling
Reducing scope or swapping one feature for another is handled as a change request with an updated price and timeline in writing, not as a cancellation.
10How to cancel
- Email evancode.dev@gmail.com with your reference or project name.
- We send a detailed settlement within 5 working days: what's done, what's due and what's refunded.
- Once you approve it, we transfer the refund within 14 working days using the original payment method unless we agree otherwise.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; each project follows the version in force when it was agreed.
