Google brought AI Overviews to the Middle East and North Africa and to Arabic, then extended AI Mode — search that answers as a full conversation — to Arabic among 36 new languages in October 2025. Many searchers now read the answer above the results before clicking any site.
What it means for your traffic
Quick questions ("how much is X?", "X or Y?") may be answered on the results page, so fewer people click through. But the answer links to the sources it relied on, and visitors who arrive from there are usually closer to a decision. The goal is to be one of those sources.
What makes a page worth citing
- A direct answer near the top: price, timeline and what's included, in numbers rather than generalities.
- Headings phrased as the questions people actually type, each followed by a clear answer.
- Arabic written for Arabic readers, not machine-translated English.
- Structured data (Schema) for FAQs, services and prices, so search engines understand the page.
- A fast page that works well on mobile — slowness knocks you out before your content is read.
What doesn't change
The basics are the same: a useful, trustworthy, fast page that answers a real question. AI summarises what it finds; if it doesn't find a clear answer on your site, it will summarise someone else's.
